Bill Rapp (songwriter/singer/guitarist)... Joins the Rockets


Bill Rapp, a songwriter/singer/guitarist, whose styles include country, country rock, blues and rockabilly joined the Rockets for their new recording session "Songs from the Cradle of Rock 'N' Roll". Bill's early works have been published, recorded and distributed by Window Publishing/Stop Records in Nashville. The recordings were arranged and produced by legendary steel guitarist Pete Drake.

Bill has won several songwriting awards including a KMON/WSM radio talent search conducted by the Grand Ole Opry in honor of their 50th anniversary. Bill was named one of the winners of a western U.S. regional and Canadian competition. Bill has performed with famed Nashville producer/songwriter/keyboardist Randy Goodrum.

For more than 25 years bill has been a bandleader, guitarist and one of the vocalists for the band "Shade Tree". Bill is a BMI songwriter. Look for some originals written by Bill on our new CD.
In November of 2008, Bill gave me that idea to record new material in the style of original ROCK ‘N'  ROLL.
